Corporate Event Designs for Venues

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I've been gearing up for the holidays, decorating, picking out the perfect tree, all the fun stuff that comes along with xmas. :)

Well, besides designing for all of my wonderful brides, I do still have a day job to keep me afloat. The company I work for threw an anniversary party and yours truly was in charge of the venue decorations, programs, and invitations. I think the event turned out to be extremely AWESOME so I thought I would share some photos and my designs with you all.

Chandelier and Damask Save the Date

Here is a new Save the Date card I posted in my Etsy store a few days ago that I love, love, love! Did I mention I love it?? Haha. Chandelier motifs are so modern and so fitting for this time of year! A few people have asked me if I plan on designing any holiday cards and I would absolutely love to but I don't think I have the time this year. So I think this will be the closest thing to a holiday card I can do. :)

Love Bird Save the Dates/Wedding Announcement

Since being on Etsy I have been able to pick up on different wedding trends and I notice a lot of people are diggin' the whole love birds/nature motif. This has been one of my most popular designs and gets "hearted" (Etsy term if you are not familiar) often. I think it is really cute, very modern and fun! I created this wedding announcement for Jackie and Anthony who got married back in August. Congratulations, newlyweds! :)

Long time no blog but definitely no lack of work! Customized wedding logo preview

So it has been awhile! But work definitely has not slowed down, just moved to a new place and it is just now starting to feel like home. My little Etsy shop has been getting a little more traffic so it looks like my hard work is paying off! I am definitely excited about some upcoming projects I am working on, I have a lot of cute gift and reception ideas and I can't wait to share them. Sometimes there is just not enough hours in the day. :)

This week I've been working with Pamela & Anthony with their Jazz themed wedding. Below is just the beginning of what I will be creating for her and I am so happy that she loves it. They are huge jazz lovers and I think that it will show once all of her wedding pieces come together!

I am getting back into my blogging routine so I plan on updating on my regular weekly basis. :)

DIY Custom Wedding Invitation Suite

So I have finally gotten around in designing some Wedding Invitations... or suites as they are called. I'm very happy with the outcome and anxious to see the response! I always have design ideas floating around in my brain but with a full-time job and a somewhat social life it's sometimes hard to find the time to create it all!

I just posted this invitation suite to my Etsy store, I think it's simple, but cute and modern. I have a few more that I will post, along with a really cute wedding favor idea I have brewing in my mind that I am very excited about. :)

This suite includes printable PDF's of the main invite, RSVP response card, and two insert cards. I also include a supply list and directions for assembly.

Custom Wedding Favor Stickers & Tags

Another great detail to make your wedding a little more unique is to use personalized wedding favor labels. These are a perfect way to add a personalized flair to your wedding favors! Each wedding favor tag and label I design can be customized with different colors, fonts, or with your personalized message. Wedding favor tags and personalized labels can easily be attached to your favor bags or favor boxes. You can even use them as envelope seals for your invitations.

One of my designs on a wedding favor box. So cute!

Ana Maria & Mario's Custom Wedding Monogram

I have another monogram to share! I created this for Ana Maria and Mario's big day :) They are getting married next year in Columbia, which I am sure will be beautiful! Their colors are red, orange, and white. Ana Maria's favorite flower is a tulip so we definitely had to incorporate that into the monogram. Congratulations guys!

Custom Monogram and Customized Wedding Koozies

I've been working with another Etsy bride on her custom monogram and party favor and I have just made the final touches on it. Jennifer and Jason's big day is in October and they're tying the knot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! We used chocolate brown and moss green as their colors, which are great for a fall wedding. She is also giving away drink koozies, which is also great for a destination wedding. Check out her finished designs below. Congrats guys!

Cute nature-inspired jewelry from Etsy

I recently bought a necklace from Etsy from a seller named "Sweetmini". I LOVE LOVE all of her cute ultra feminine jewelry... I bought myself the necklace below and got so many compliments when I wore it to work today. I wanted to share with you some of her pieces because I thought they would make great gifts for bridesmaids or for bridal shower party favors!

Wedding Preview - Damask Save The Dates, Favor Boxes, Welcome Sign, Website

For the past few months, I have been helping my friend Rhea design some pieces for her and her fiancé Dennis' wedding next month. I am so excited and happy that the wedding is right around the corner! I just wanted to post a small preview of some of the things that I have designed for them. Their colors are hot pink and black and they wanted to use a damask pattern, which suits Rhea's personality perfectly. :)

I plan on taking lots of pictures at the wedding and of course I will be taking pictures of the pieces I created for her.

Welcome!

Welcome to my first official post! :)

For those who don't know me, my name is Sheila and I am a graphic designer working in Atlanta, GA. Although I have just started SHEILA MARI DESIGN a few months ago, I have been working as graphic designer for the past 6 years. Well, a few months ago a friend of mine asked me to help her design a few pieces for her wedding, that is when I discovered my knack for wedding design and I have loved every minute of it!

I started this blog so that I can share all of my design projects with you. I also wanted a fun way for brides to view all my different designs and wedding ideas. I also love to bargain shop and I love to support other artists and their handmade products, so I plan on sharing all of my super cute finds with you! ;)

I plan on posting on a regular basis so please come back or better yet, subscribe!
